  1. Chef’s Special Cocktail Bar – 2165 N. Western Avenue

Open now, the booming Bucktown neighborhood delivers a new bar serving Chinese-American food that is founded on comfort and nostalgia. Dedicated to the influential Chinese-American restaurants of the ‘80’s, Chef’s Special will serve approachable dishes coupled with an extensive bar and lounge area providing a wide array of quality cocktails. The group behind Chicago’s acclaimed restaurant, Giant, hopes to apply the same philosophy with this endeavor: producing big flavors with top-notch ingredients and an attention to detail. 

2. Chicago Board Game Cafe– 1965 N. Milwaukee Avenue

With an anticipated opening set for mid to late January, reservations are already available for this new, multi-pronged project near the Bucktown/Logan Square neighborhood. The team behind the ever-popular and audacious card game, Cards Against Humanity, are getting into the restaurant business and present a fun, versatile space offering a full-service restaurant and bar, a game library and two escape rooms. 3. The X Pot– Roosevelt Collection, 150 W. Roosevelt Road

Set to open by Summer 2020, The XPot hopes to engage all fives senses to create a remarkable dining experience using beautiful HD 360 projections, thematic soundscapes and interactive light shows right on your dinner plate.
